Our premium organically farmed gourmet Golden Oyster mushrooms are home grown right here on our Unique Creek Homestead on hard wood logs from our forest! We have a small mushroom farm in a shady, damp area of our property back in our woods, were we grow and harvest our mushrooms. We harvest them at just the right time for maximum flavoring, then dry them for uses in soups, salads, stirfrys, Asian cuisines, pizza toppings, in spaghetti and other pasta dishes and MUCH more!
Remember, mushrooms are 92 percent water. When mushrooms are cooked, they release a lot of liquid! Dried mushrooms are 10% or less of their original weight but can be rehydrated quick and easily!
Organic Dried Gourmet Golden Oyster Mushrooms

REHYDRATION: Put the dried mushrooms in tepid water for at least 15 minutes, depending on how thick the dried mushrooms are. I like a narrow tall bowl to soak them in. This concentrates any potential debris or sand in the bottom of the bowl, leaving the rehydrating mushrooms floating in the clean water above.
