Rose of Sharon seeds are extremely easy to grow, and in fact, this plant can become a nuisance in a garden because of how readily it reseeds. Rose of Sharon is hardy in U.S. Department of Agriculture zones 5 to 8 and blooms from June through October.

Rose of Sharon Seed Propagation
Sow rose of sharon seeds ¼-½ (0.5-1.25 cm.) deep. Cover loosely with appropriate soil. Plant seed outdoors in autumn or indoors 12 weeks before last frost date for your area.
