UNIQUE CREEK HOMESTEAD SEEDS: All of our seeds are grown right here on our Unique Creek Homestead and not sourced from elsewhere. All seeds are collected each growing season and are 1-year old or less, stored in air-tight Mason jars. Seeds are harvested and labeled for storage each season, one plant/seed type at a time so seeds do not get mixed by accident during the process! The seeds we use at the start of each growing season come from the exact same seeds we sell.
ABOUT THESE SEEDS: The Mocha Swirl pepper is a striking, variegated sweet snacking pepper (Capsicum annuum) prized for its ornamental beauty and sugary, crisp flavor. It features marbled foliage and unique fruits that transition from green-and-white stripes to rich chocolate-brown and deep red hues. An exceptionally rich, earthy-sweet flavor profile tastes almost like a dried date.
Plant and Fruit Characteristics
Days to Maturity: 50–60 days for early green/white harvest; 70–80 days for full chocolate-red maturity.
Fruit Size: 3 to 4.5 inches long and about 1.5 to 2 inches wide.
Plant Size: Compact and mounded, reaching 12 to 24 inches (sometimes up to 36 inches) in height.
Heat Level: 0 Scoville Heat Units (completely mild/sweet).
Growing and Care Tips
Sunlight: Requires full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily).Spacing: Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart.
