The Tiberius Mauler Yellow (sometimes called Yellow Dark or Golden variants) is an unstable, rare off phenotype in the famous Tiberius Mauler superhot pepper line.
Origin and Lineage
Parent Line: The original Tiberius Mauler was created by grower Brian Hamilton in 2019 as an accidental cross (likely involving Leviathan Gnarly Scorpion and Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion x 7 Pot Primo) from seeds sourced from Justin White.
Yellow Phenotype: Yellow or golden variations often pop up as off-phenotypes or mutations from chocolate/caramel lines (such as when golden pods unexpectedly appear on plants grown from Chocolate Tiberius Mauler seeds).
Stability: This variety is not stable, meaning pod shape, exact color shading, and heat levels can vary significantly from one plant to the next.
Characteristics
Appearance: Unripe pods often feature green skin with purple mottling, developing from dark green plants with striking purple stems. When fully mature, they ripen to a golden-yellow or dark yellow hue. They typically feature wrinkled, gnarly skin and long, menacing stingers.
Heat Level (SHU): Estimated around 1,000,000+ Scoville Heat Units. While fiercely hot, yellow/golden phenotypes are often reported to be slightly tamer or milder than the extreme red, caramel, or chocolate mainstays of the Tiberius Mauler family. 
Flavor Profile: Carries a fruity, tangy, and slightly sweet baseline typical of Capsicum Chinese super-hots, though the intense capsaicin burn quickly takes over.
