UNIQUE CREEK HOMESTEAD SEEDS: All of our seeds are grown right here on our Unique Creek Homestead and not sourced from elsewhere. All seeds are collected each growing season and are 1-year old or less, stored in air-tight Mason jars. Seeds are harvested and labeled for storage each season, one plant/seed type at a time so seeds do not get mixed by accident during the process! The seeds we use at the start of each growing season come from the exact same seeds we sell.

ABOUT THESE SEEDS: The Caramel Primotalii is a superhot pepper and a color variant of the original Primotalii pepper, created by Chris Saunders in the UK. It's a cross between the 7 Pot Primo and Fatalii peppers, featuring a similar shape and extreme heat level (often exceeding 1,000,000 SHU) with a unique caramel color and often a fruity, citrusy, and floral flavor profile. The pods are wrinkled, have a long thin tail, and are excellent for making hot sauces or marinades.
Origins and Development: Creator: Chris Saunders in the United Kingdom. Cross: A cross between the 7 Pot Primo and the Fatalii Yellow pepper. Discovery: The long tails characteristic of the Primotalii appeared in the F2 generation of the breeding process.
Color Variant: The Caramel Primotalii is a variation of the red Primotalii. CharacteristicsHeat: Extremely hot, comparable to the Carolina Reaper, with potential SHU ratings over 1,000,000. Appearance: The pods have a caramel or lighter coloration than the chocolate variant, with a wrinkled surface and a very long, thin tail.
Flavor: A complex flavor profile with fruity, citrusy, and floral notes, sometimes with earthy undertones.
Uses: Sauces and Marinades: Excellent for crafting hot sauces or as a marinade for various meats.
Cooking: A small amount of this pepper can add a significant kick to dishes. Garden Appeal: Its unique appearance makes it a popular choice for gardeners
 
Sow seeds in flats or pots 8 to 10 weeks prior to the expected outdoor planting date. Sow them shallowly, around 1/4 inch deep. Hot peppers, and especially super-hot peppers, have a well-earned reputation for being finicky to germinate, but you can increase germination rates by providing bottom heat (highly suggested).
